Slovenska Beach, Budva
Slovenska Beach is the main beach of Budva and the longest stretch of sand on the Budva Riviera. Running in a wide crescent from the marina to the edge of the Old Town peninsula, it is the beach most visitors picture when they think of a summer holiday in Montenegro. Staying nearby means you can be on the sand in minutes, return home for lunch, and head back out for an evening swim — the kind of easy, unhurried beach holiday that makes a real difference.
About Slovenska Beach
Slovenska is a mix of fine pebble and sand, with a gently shelving seabed that makes it comfortable for swimmers of all levels. The beach stretches for roughly 600 metres and is backed by the town promenade, a palm-lined walkway with cafes, ice-cream stands, and small shops. Lounger and umbrella sets are available for rent along most of the beach, and there are free public sections as well. Lifeguards are on duty throughout the summer season, and showers and changing facilities are available at several points along the beach.
In the morning the beach is quiet and perfect for a swim. By midday in July and August it fills up, but you can always find space if you walk toward the western end near the Old Town. The water is clean and warm from June through September, typically reaching 24–27°C at its peak. After dark, the promenade comes alive with street musicians, families, and the glow of the restaurants that line the waterfront.
What is nearby
The promenade connects directly to Budva Old Town at its western end, so you can walk from your beach towel to the Citadela in about ten minutes. The eastern end leads toward the TQ Plaza shopping area and the main bus station. Along the promenade you will find supermarkets, pharmacies, restaurants serving everything from pizza to fresh Adriatic seafood, and small tour agencies offering boat trips to Sveti Nikola island (sometimes called “Hawaii” by locals) just offshore.
How close are our apartments
All three of our apartments are approximately 200 metres from Slovenska Beach — a two-minute walk. They sit in the zone between the beach and the Old Town, which is the most convenient location in Budva: close enough to hear the sea at night, but set back from the busiest stretch of the promenade for a quieter sleep.
The Seaview Grand Apartment offers a panoramic sea view, two bedrooms, and space for up to six guests — ideal for families or groups who want to wake up to the sight of the Adriatic. The Cozy Seaside Apartment is a comfortable one-bedroom unit sleeping four, great for couples or a small family looking for a relaxed stay near the water. The Luxury Seaside Apartment brings a modern, high-end feel to its one-bedroom layout and is the closest of the three to the Old Town entrance.
Beyond Slovenska
While Slovenska is the most convenient beach, it is far from the only one. Mogren Beach is a short walk through a cliff tunnel west of the Old Town, and Jaz Beach — one of Montenegro's most beautiful — is just a few kilometres further.
